Website & SEO

Our franchise-facing web presence: Webflow → Shopify migration, Google Search Console, and ongoing SEO.

Where we are

The franchise site has moved off Webflow and lives on Shopify (mainstreamboutique.com/pages/franchise, /the-mb-story, /success-stories). The old Webflow property (mainstreamboutiquefranchise.com) is retired. Our live site is part of the main mainstreamboutique.com Shopify store, so retail and franchise share a single domain footprint.

Google Search Console is set up and verified under mainstreamboutiquehq@gmail.com — this is the account that owns the sc-domain:mainstreamboutique.com domain property. The old mainstreamboutiquefranchising@gmail.com account reference in our earlier project notes was incorrect and has been corrected.

Sitemap submitted and successfully processed. Google discovered 3,025 pages from sitemap.xml on Apr 22, 2026. All three core franchise pages confirmed indexed on Google with structured data detected (FAQ + Breadcrumbs on the franchise landing page, videos on MB Story and Success Stories).

What's next is a verification pass (has indexing progressed since Apr 22?) followed by the real work — a full SEO audit to identify rankings, gaps, backlink health, technical issues, and competitor positioning.

Google Search Console — current state

3,025
Sitemap Pages Discovered
85
Pages Indexed
9,400
Total Search Clicks

Snapshot as of Apr 23, 2026. Indexing is an ongoing process — Google typically works through large sitemaps over days and weeks. The 668 "not indexed" pages are expected (collection variants, filter URLs, etc.) and will be reviewed in the audit.

What's next

  1. Verification pass in GSC — check indexing progress since Apr 22 and confirm the franchise-page indexing request processed. Quick follow-up; 10–15 min in the console
  2. Run a full SEO audit using SemRush, Ahrefs, or a comparable tool. Keyword rankings + opportunities, backlink profile, technical SEO, competitor comp-set, content-gap analysis
  3. Review audit findings and build a prioritized action list. Quick-win vs. structural work — what we fix ourselves vs. what needs agency/dev help
  4. Execute high-priority fixes (technical and on-page). Scope depends on audit — site speed, metadata, internal linking, structured data, etc.
